04 Yoga Classes Offered

DIFFERENT NEEDS REQUIRE A VARIETY OF CLASSES

BEGINNER YOGA
These classes are designed for students new to yoga and teach the fundamentals:
breath, posture, body locks, mudras, meditation and restrictions for women.

Questions and concerns are welcome before, during and after class.

INTERMEDIATE YOGA
These classes include and build on the fundamentals taught in beginner classes with emphasis on more challenging kriyas (series of postures) and meditations.

ADVANCED YOGA
These classes are designed for students who have a strong understanding and practice of the fundamentals and want to be challenged physically and mentally.

These kriyas can contain postures and exercises that are done from 5 – 15 minutes.

STRESS MANAGEMENT & RELAXATION CLASSES
These classes are designed to teach techniques that can be done anywhere and anytime to manage the stress in your life.  The techniques in these classes release mental, physical and emotional tension allowing you to regain balance and involve guided breath work, gentle stretching and savasana (final relaxation).

If appropriate, these classes can end with a variety of healing meditations.

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT CLASSES
These classes focus on the “unseen” to balance and manage the “seen”.  When your glandular system is functioning properly (unseen), your mind and body (seen) are balanced.

OPTIMAL HEALTH & WELL BEING YOGA
These classes are designed to get your heart rate up and stimulate your entire nervous and glandular systems, thereby slowing down the aging process and improving your overall health and vitality.  A strong understanding and practice of the fundamentals taught in the beginner yoga classes is highly recommended.
